Learning Disney Magic Style

by The Girls of MTT

What better ship to sail with 7 girls from MTT than the reimagined Disney Magic? Of the 7, four we were brand new to Disney Cruise Line, one hadn’t sailed in many years, one marked her 8th DCL sailing with this cruise, and it was my 10th Disney Cruise Line cruise. So what was their favorite part? Read on!

Kimberly, the Queen of MTT: Castaway Cay, of course! Drop the children off at Scuttle’s Cove and then head to the adult-only beach at Serenity Bay.

MTT Krista: I am all about character time, so being able to enjoy meet and greets both aboard the Disney Magic and off the ship at Castaway Cay was such a delight!

The chance to experience a fabulous dinner and an amazing, innovative show at Animator’s Palate was one of my favorite moments of the cruise!

MTT Jill: Sailing on the newly re-imagined Disney Magic was an experience I will never forget. The crew and wait staff were phenomenal, the food was delectable, the ship was truly spectacular, and the memories will forever be MAGICal! My favorite part of the sailing was the Castaway Cay adventure. I started the morning with the Castaway Cay 5K, then fed and swam with the stingrays, dined on some tasty barbecue, hoped on a bike, snorkeled with the local marine life, then lounged in the sun with my float and my friends. It could not have been any more perfect.

AND, since I was already water logged and donning my swim garb, I figured why not take a splash via the AquaDunk once back on the ship. So glad I did… the anticipation of the floor falling out from under me was well worth it… so much so, I did it twice. I can’t wait for my next Disney Cruise!!

MTT GlynisBaby Duffy had an amazing adventure onboard the Disney Magic. He eventually started being a little mischievous and decided it would be fun to photobomb!

The soufflé in Palo is worth the 25 min it takes to fix it! Dining at Palo is well worth the extra $25 per person. With the personalized service and culinary delights, and the final touch, the chocolate soufflé, we left very satisfied and look forward to our next visit.

MTT Melissa: Disney Cruise Line surely puts together a great cruise. One of my all time favorite parts was Pirate Night. The show was spectacular and the fireworks were Ah-mazing! But I have to say the food after the party is mouth watering. They had the largest and most yummiest Turkey Legs I have ever seen or eaten!

MTT Aimee: My favorite thing was Castaway Cay. The bright colors, clear water and snorkeling! Seeing the sunken Mickey was the most exciting!

MTT Jody: Castaway Cay was my favorite part of the trip. To know that there is plenty of room for my family and it won’t be over run by 1000’s of others from another cruise was great. That factor alone made me relax even more. The clear water, warm sun, fun team members and getting to see characters in costume (yep I am 42 and that was amazing!) were my favorite parts!

It looks like Castaway Cay is the clear winner for this cruise! Lucky for Disney fans, all Bahamas and most Caribbean itineraries for Disney Cruise Line include a stop at this gorgeous getaway. Ready to plan YOUR trip?

Scrappin’ Sunday: Papa Noel

One of the simplest pages I’ve done. Background paper, a couple pieces of patterned paper in coordinating colors, brads, the maple leaf, and journaling – TADA! Perfect for the busy holiday season, that’s for sure!

Journaling reads: We were surprised when MiaMouse was not at all interested in listening to the storytellers around Epcot. Santa. Stories. What’s not to love?

But she did deign to chat with Papa Noel in Canada and moved right up to the front of the line for a picture… and to ask if he wanted to book a trip with Mouse Tales Travel.

What memories did you save this week?
