I will admit that I was never a PhotoPass person. I mean we did use PhotoPass during our visits to Disney World, but in the end I never bought the CD or purchased any pictures. I just could not justify it into our budget. I could take the same photos with my own camera. It was not until this past trip that we decided to try the PhotoPass and pre-order our CD. I am SO happy that I made that choice. I am in LOVE with all the photos we got and the fact that the whole family was able to get into the picture and know that the photo was going to be a great shot, made our vacation stress free and we did not have to worry about trying to capture every moment on our own. We are such Disney nuts, that other than my kids yearly school portraits, the only photos that go on our wall are the ones of us on our family vacations to Disney World or Disney Cruise. To us there was great value with getting the PhotoPass and pre-ordering it allowed me to still stay on a budget for our trip. Knowing that we already purchased the PhotoPass CD we made sure to get as many shots as possible. Why else do I like getting the PhotoPass CD? As you can see from the photo above, you can edit your pictures and add fun borders. Meeting Goofy at the Big Top Circus was so much fun.
Capturing special moments between the characters and my children is important to us. I am in love with this shot of Prince J and Minnie Mouse. These are the moments that Disney PhotoPass Photographers are trained to look for and snap away.
All five of us were able to get into this picture. Online at the Disney Photo Pass site, I was able to add this border to our picture and this was our Christmas Card. A moment we captured and were so excited to share with our family & friends.
If you do not already know, Minnie Mouse is my favorite character. On every trip I make sure to get my photo with me and my “hero”. As I was editing other pictures, I came across an option where you can add a characters autograph to your photo. How cute would this be for your little one. Surprise them with a photo of them and their favorite character with their autograph. Would make for a great poster as well.
Is that Tinkerbell you see in our hands, why YES it is. You can have photos like this done by certain Disney PhotoPass Photographers. Look for the photographers who do not have a tripod. They have the ability to create magic shots. They will pose you specifically according to the magic shot they are trying to create. When you go online to see your photo, you will see the graphic added to your shot. Special moments like these can transform your photo and put your family right in the center of all the magic.
