First timers, or for those of you who are just looking for something new and fun to do on your next Disney Trip, consider decorating the window at your resort. This is such a fun extra you can do with the kids so they can share in a piece of the magic. Let your imaginations run wild. You can decorate for any theme, celebration or just show your love for Disney. It is very simple to do. All you need is creativity, arts and crafts materials, laminating machine (if you decide to laminate your decorations), hole puncher and suction cup hooks. **DO NOT use tape on the windows at Disney World. It is not allowed** You can even purchase seasonal window clings, the possibilities are endless. Put your kids’ stuffed animals in the window. Are you going during Christmas? You can even hang up your very own holiday lights. Check out these photos of past Disney Resort guests to give you some inspiration.
What? Your cruising and want to do something like this? Well don’t fret, you can! Disney Cruise Line stateroom doors are metal. Instead of hanging things with suction cups, you can just create your very own personalized magnets or just hang magnets that you have purchased or collected over the years. Put a dry erase board on your door and leave little notes for passersby and maybe they will leave you one as well. All you need to make your own magnets is a cute design, card stock paper or even just plain printer paper, laminating machine and magnet strips to attach to the back. They do make magnetic paper that you can print on, but to me that is more expensive. Here are some stateroom decorations:
The Pixie Trips Family always decorates our window and stateroom door… be on the lookout this December at Disney World and maybe you will spot ours.
