When we sailed the Disney Dream in October, we had a 9″ Design Your Own white Vinylamation for the characters to sign instead of an autograph book. And rather than carrying it around all over the ship, we dropped it off at Guest Services – along with 2 retractable Sharpies and a bag of candy for the Cast Members signing – on the night we sailed and it was delivered to our stateroom the night before we arrived home.
You can choose just the Princesses, just the classic characters, or both. I requested as many as possible and my Vinylmation is neatly full, not crammed.
In 2012 Disney released a brand new Design Your Own 9″ figure and this time the blank looks like it’s made of bricks instead of smooth like mine above. Won’t it look like graffiti when signed with black Sharpie – or better, how about different color retractable Sharpies?
I’m thinking this not-so-little guy might need to get signed on our Disney Fantasy trip in March… oh wait, did I just say MARCH? ;)
