Today Princess Mouse transforms from a normal park-going little girl into a fairytale rendition of Belle at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Since we were going to attend the “Beauty & the Beast” sing-along event at the AMC Theaters in Downtown Disney, we chose the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location at DTD as well. The Chief Mouse lunched with an Imagineer so it was just the girls as we headed to the World of Disney store.
They took us right away – a good 15 mins early- and she chose the Fairytale Princess hairstyle. Princess Mouse’s hair is barely shoulder length, but our Fairy-Godmother-in-Training (or FGit) Nicole used 8lbs of hair gel to slick it right up ‘n back. I was amazed!
Though she doesn’t like to sit still or have her hair done at home, Princess Mouse thrived on the attention and was obviously very comfortable with her FGiT. Sometimes maybe a little TOO comfortable…?!? She kept everyone in stitches and Nicole rolled right along, laughing and playing, all while continuing to work on Princess Mouse’s fairytale princess bun of steel. Seriously, that thing could withstand a nuclear blast and not move!
Then it was time for nails and makeup, and the face jewel which Princess Mouse experienced at Pirate League and was so excited to see again! Nicole put all of the leftover supplies into a shiny pink Cinderella BBB bag for us to take home. You’re asked to bring your own comb or brush, however they use a rattail comb, then tuck it in your bag.
Almost time for the reveal, but first the PhotoPass photographer helped our Princess with her slipper. awww….
Obviously, Princess Mouse is VERY VERY VERY happy with her transformation!
After the makeover, we went to the studio in Guest Relations at Downtown Disney for Princess Mouse’s portrait session.
