Last month we shared the upcoming renovations for the Disneyland Hotel’s pool/water area but that’s just the beginning. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the changes coming to Disneyland Resort in 2011 and 2012!
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue – The new Star Tours 3-D attraction opens in 2011 and the storyline bridges the gap between the two Star Wars trilogies. For the first time, riders will journey to multiple destinations including Coruscant, and you might even be able to join a pod race! Take a look at a StarRacer as it zips through Coruscant.
The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure – Part of the expansion of Disney California Adventure park, this is one of the models from the “Under the Sea” scene for the new attraction. The Little Mermaid attraction, takes guests under the sea in an immersive experience of magnificent scenes and magical songs from the movie.
Cars Land - The most spectacular addition to the Disneyland Resort since the construction of California Adventure itself, the 12-acre expansion of California Adventure to create Cars Land is set to open in the summer of 2012. The new land, modeled after Radiator Springs, features three new attractions, including Radiator Springs Racers, Luigi’s Flying Tires, and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.
